Stainless steel, as its name suggests, does not actually stain less. The more accurate term would be that it stains less than other types of steel. This is because stainless steel contains a minimum of 11% Chromium, which gives it resistance to rust.

There are different varieties of stainless steel, such as the 201 & 304 stainless steel door handle that we offer. 201 stainless steel contains Chromium (16%-18%) and Nickel (3.5%-5.5%), along with higher amounts of Manganese (5.5%-7.5%) and Nitrogen, and lower amounts of Nickel compared to type 304 steel. Due to rising costs and the volatility of Nickel, Type 201 stainless steel has become increasingly appealing for certain products without sacrificing corrosion resistance.

In technical terms, 304 stainless steel has a higher standard than 201 stainless steel, but 201 stainless steel is slightly more affordable. Both offer excellent corrosion resistance, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

Stainless steel rusts when the thin, durable chromium-rich oxide film on its surface gets continuously destroyed, allowing oxygen atoms to infiltrate and oxidize, causing rust. Factors like dust, juice, acid, alkali, salt substances, sulfides, carbon oxides, and nitrogen oxides in the atmosphere can damage the surface and lead to corrosion. To prevent rust, always keep the stainless steel product dry and clean.

Our stainless steel door handle is made from brushed 304 Stainless Steel, ensuring it does not fade, deform, rust, or corrode. It is easy to clean and guarantees long-term use. The handle measures 4 inches in width by 16 inches in length, with a standard thickness of 18GA/1.2mm. The R5 round-angle edge design provides a smooth and safe grip.
